My food and culture to me is very unique. I find it very unique because there is nothing like it but has so many other cultures that influence it. Being Filipino I was born into a Catholic house. We go to church every weekend and went to prayer meetings with the church group. My family is very religious and believe that all the good you do in life will eventually come back to you. I also believe in this because what can happen if you do good in your life. There might be bad stuff going on but at least if you can help someone you get back in return or maybe not a material good but a spiritual relief that is subconscious. My family does not celebrate Christmas like my other friends do but they still get a tree and try and do what society does. Kind of fit into the new world they live in. In Philippines where they lived most of their life, bright lights and festive stuff was always around but not the same with America. They did not have snow, christmas tree, and big t.v screens as gifts. We still celebrate Christmas like every other family but I find it not as more special than any other holiday.

The food that we eat is very interesting. There are a lot of stews involved in most of the dishes and rice is something you will always find to be served. There are a lot of Asian influence in Filipino dishes but also some Spanish influence. I find that really awesome because I can have the best of both worlds Asian food and Spanish. My family always cooks Asian food but we also eat a lot of American style dishes like pizza, potatoes, and steak.
You were two words short of the word count--I'll give it to you.
